In the beginning....there was love. It was not the love we think we know about. It was not the kind of love that is there, then gone. It was not the kind of love that started hot, then grew cold with time. It was a love that is unlike any we have ever known. It was a love that is. Still is. Burning and burning and craving and craving. Ceaseless and persistent love. Love that has stood the test of time, and captivated hearts down through the ages.

It has captivated my heart.

This is an old painting, and sold a while ago, but wanted to post for a friend. I like horses and portraying them in several fashions. This is an early attempt to divide the paper in unequal sections and have smaller images on one half sheet. Since this piece I have made others works which are much improved.

Okay, last one, I promise. I can't get enough of creating and designing, and one thing usually leads to another.

It is exponential, this creative process. One design leads me to other ideas, to more ideas, to a long, long list of things I want to do.

Pretty little black evening bag with pheasant feathers, beads that fell off a necklace, and faux leather fabric to top it all off.

And one more today.

This little gem was kind of crushed and misshapen on the bottom. Adding the fabric, bling and feathers hid the problem and made it...well, made it.

Another vintage find, this bag was plain black. Adding white turkey feathers and a "crystal" brooch gave it some zing.

Guinea feathers are a nice added touch, I think.

Sometimes a bag needs a little help. I enjoy finding vintage bags, or close to vintage, and embellishing them with all kinds of doo-dads. Here is one

with a terrific shape, but just kind of plain. Adding some black turkey feathers, an old brooch, and a dangley key make it a little more interesting and a conversation piece.
